Frequently asked questions

(Also known as: Things people usually ask after they hit “Add to Cart”)

If your question isn’t here, or if you just want to talk about capybaras, or the 3D printing process feel free to email us at info@k3dp.com.

We’re friendly, fast, and fueled by caffeine.

What do you actually sell?

We sell small-batch, 3D printed joy. That includes home decor, fidget desk toys, customizable keychains, tool accessories, and the occasional absurd collectible. Everything is made in our rural Alberta workshop with care, color, and a lot of love for quirky design.

Are your items safe for kids?

Most of our items are made for teens and adults. Many contain small parts, which can pose a choking risk. If your child still puts things in their mouth that aren't food, we recommend waiting a few years.

Our work is meant for display, gentle fidgeting, or collecting. Not for chewing, smashing, or launching across the living room.

Can I choose my own colors?

Yes. We love color requests. Most products come with a variety of solid color options. If you're looking for something special or want to match a theme, let us know. We may even have a few surprise colors tucked away that are not listed online.

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

Yes. If you’re planning a party, running a booth, or building a tiny army of frogs, we can help. Email us with what you need and we’ll work out a bulk rate that’s fair for everyone.

We also offer custom packaging or labels for special events or retail partners.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes. If you run a gift shop, con booth, or retail store and would like to carry our work, we’d love to hear from you. Wholesale pricing is available for select items and we’re open to custom orders for your audience.

Where do you ship from?

Everything is made and shipped from Alberta, Canada. Orders usually leave our studio within three to five business days. You’ll receive a tracking number once your package is on the way.

Shipping times vary depending on your location, the weather, the postal system, and whether or not the geese are acting up.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide. If your country allows imports of 3D printed capybaras, we’re happy to send them your way. Customs and import fees are your responsibility. We fill out our forms properly but cannot guarantee how your country handles them.

Is shipping free?

We offer free shipping on orders over 75 USD. For everything else, a flat shipping rate applies. No complicated tables or surprise fees. Just one clear number that shows up during checkout.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Because our items are handmade and often customized, all sales are final.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within seven days of delivery. Include your order number and photos if possible. We’ll make it right if we’re at fault. If it broke because your dog tried to eat it, that’s a conversation for you and your dog.

What happens if my order is damaged during shipping?

Email us at info@k3dp.com within seven days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a clear photo of the damage. We’ll review the issue and send a replacement or refund if needed.

We pack everything carefully, but once it leaves our hands, it's up to the mail gods. We do our best to help when things go wrong.

How do I clean my item?

Use mild soap and water, then air dry or gently pat it dry. Keep your items away from dishwashers, hot tubs, extreme heat, and extended time in the sun.

Think of them like gremlins. Treat them kindly, don’t overheat them, and absolutely no microwaves.

Are your designs original?

Yes. Most of our designs are original, and others are made under proper commercial licenses from creators we trust. We support small designers, we don’t copy, and we don’t sell anything we wouldn’t be proud to display ourselves.

Do you offer any secret discounts?

Funny you should ask. If you’ve read this far, you deserve a reward.

Use code SNEAKYPEEK at checkout for 10 percent off your next order. This code is not advertised anywhere else and is just for the curious folks who actually read the fine print.

One use per customer. No expiration date, just good karma.
